摘要 磁器口丝业的崛起 在20世纪20年代大革命高潮中,共产党人游曦为什么要从重庆城里跑到磁器口镇上来办妇女平民学校? 这得从磁器口丝厂的发展说起。 磁器口是个水陆码头。一般场镇三天赶一场,磁器口是“百日场,天天赶”。当时建立在镇上金沙街和金碧街的华康、天福、谦吉祥和同孚四家丝厂,不但是磁器口,也是重庆、甚至全川的支柱产业。 四川农村推广栽桑养蚕,肇端于清末四川总督赵尔巽和劝业道道尹周孝怀的大力提倡。晚清之季施行新政,崇尚实业。桑树大多栽种在田边地角,不占良田熟土。
