Use of Multi-media in Legal English Teaching

多媒体教学已经越来越多地应用于英语教学中,法律英语具有独特的语言背景与内涵。词汇来源于古英语,中古英语,拉丁语和法语等主要语系。与普通英语相比,相当大的一些词汇具有法律上专有的含义。在法律英语教学过程中,如果我们教师能将高科技的多媒体手段运用到教学过程中,不但能提高教学效果,而且还会为社会提供大量的高素质、高能力的法律人才。

Multimedia has been used in English teaching more widely than before.Legal English has its own characteristic and its own background.The vocabulary comes from Old English,Latin and Spain.Compared with English in common use,a large majority of legal English words has its special meaning.If we teachers try to use advanced multimedia in our teaching,we will obtain rewarding benefits not only to the students,but also to the subject.
