八股文是一种综合了多种文体要素和写作技巧逐渐整合而成的文体,其最初的源头可追溯到宋代的经义文。之后,它经历了成长、完备、定型的漫长过程。可见,它的形成并非由某人或某几个人或某个权威在某一特定的时间里制定,而是在历史的过程中,伴随着科举考试的发展,由众多的人参与不断修补完善的结果。

The Eight-Part Essay style is the gradual synthesis of elements and skills of various writing styles.Its origin can be traced back to essays in the Song dynasty explaining the meanings of classics.This style then went through a process of development,perfection and finalization.This style is not designed within a definite period by a few authoritative figures.It is a historical phenomenon accompanying the Imperial Examinations modified and perfected by many participants.
