馆藏资源建设是图书馆发展的核心,地方高校图书馆的馆藏资源建设应着重从学校的办学定位和发展目标出发,努力实现馆藏体系的科学系统化,成为本地区的文献信息服务和图书书目数据库中心。同时,高校图书馆应开展有特色的信息服务,为学校教学科研的开展服务。

Collection is the core of library development.The collection at local universities should serve the goals and development of the school,and by systematizing their collection,become regional center of local documents,bibliographies,and information service.Libraries should also develop special services for teaching and scientific research of the school.
