摘要 The Precambrian-Cambrian boundary represents one of the most puzzling and intriguing transitions in Earth history. One of the former hypotheses put forward an evolutional mechanism after a bolide impact, which is still uncertain. Anyhow, biological and geological studies seem to be favorable to an impact. Three most important elements were discovered and thus shed light upon the issue. The Precambrian-Cambrian boundary represents one of the most puzzling and intriguing transitions in Earth history.
