非营利组织志愿者动机的考察——基于文化价值取向的视角

Volunteers' Motivation of NPO:Based on the Framework of Individualism/Collectivism

志愿动机是理解志愿行为的重要因素,本研究从集体主义/个人主义的视角考察了非营利组织志愿者的动机。通过对214名有效被试的问卷调查和相关统计分析,结果发现:非营利组织的志愿者动机包括利他和利己倾向,集体主义价值倾向越强,各类动机水平越高,反映了在集体主义价值取向下义利并重的行为。研究结果指出为了更好地管理志愿者行为,非营利组织不仅要注重集体主义价值观的引导,同时需设计多重激励手段。

Volunteers' motivation is an important predictor of volunteering.This paper explores the volunteers' motivation of non-profit organization based on the framework of individualism/collectivism.In total,214 volunteers from a non-profit educational organization were sampled.Statistic methods were employed to analyze the data.The results show that volunteers from NPO have both altruistic and self-interested motivations and that collectivism,but not individualism,is found to be associated with both altruistic and self-interested motivations.Finally suggestions are proposed to improve the management of volunteering.
