利用飞行时间法测定锶原子5s5p^3P_1亚稳态能级寿命

Lifetime Measurement of 5s5p^3P_1 Metastable State for Sr Atom by Means of TOF Method

摘要 本文结合TOF法和吸收光谱测量技术,利用连续光场测定了锶原子亚稳态能级的寿命。实验中,利用689nm激光连续泵浦基态锶原子至5s5p3P1亚稳态能级,然后在距泵浦区域不同距离处观测处于5s5p3P1态的原子对688nm探测光的吸收强度,得到锶原子5s5p3P1态的能级寿命,我们利用TOF法实验得到的能级寿命为21.9±0.8μs。本文给出的方法具备实验装置简单的优点,同时可获得较高的测量精度。 In this paper,we give a new method to measure the lifetime of 5s5p3P1 metastable state for Sr atom,based on the TOF method and the absorption spectrum technique.During the experiment,we use the 689 nm laser to pump the Sr atoms of ground state(5s2)1S0 to the 5s5p3P1 metastable state,then we obtain the 688 nm laser absorption spectrums by using the 688 nm probing laser.With these spectrums we change different parameters to obtain a good index decaying curve and then we can get the value of τ.The value of our experimental is(21.9±0.8) μs.The method presented here have a low demand of experimental setup and can get a relatively high precision synchronously.
