广东连阳地区莫瑶的盘王传说及其信仰

Mo Yao's Pan Wang Legend and Religion at Lianyang area of Guangdong Province

广东连阳地区的莫瑶盘王信仰有着悠久的历史。莫瑶信仰的盘王是谁,盘古还是盘瓠?盘古、盘瓠是音近义同的一体,还是名各实异的二体?本文通过调查分析,并通过对粤北连阳地区莫瑶的考察认为,排瑶信奉的盘王表面上看似盘古,实质却是盘瓠。形变质未变:盘古之形,盘瓠之质,或者是借盘古之形信盘瓠之真而已。

Mo Yao's Pan Wang Religion has a long history. Who is the Pan Wang believed by Mo Yao, Pangu or Panhu? Are Pangu or Panhu a same person with the similar tone and meaning, or Absolutely two persons? With the investigation and analysis on Mo Yao (Pai Yao and Guoshan Yao) at Lian Yang area of North Guangdong, this paper indicates that Pan Wang believed by Pai Yao seems like Pangu, but actually is Panhu. Indeed, the form changes, and the essence does not: it is the form of Pangu, and the essence of Panhu.
