Capsella bursa-pastoris is the most special gift of Shangsi Festival(i.e.March 3 of the lunar calendar),and relates closely to the ancient Shangsi folklore.As a sweet wild vegetable,it not only is the 'treasure of the nature',but functions in deinsectization and illness treatment and is used by women as a mascot to impetrate pregnancy.
