岭南民俗中有许多神秘事象,以现代自然科学的实证手段还无法解释。其实在人类还未能完全掌握自己命运的时候,人们总是想尽各种办法来抵御灾异,趋吉避凶是一种普遍的民俗心理,所演绎的相关仪式,是一种心意文化,是民间思想的一种潜在意识,也是这些另类的行为之所以屡禁不止的原因。不如顺应民意,因势利导,让信众的精神得以释放,从中寻求突破,于构建和谐社会更有裨益。

There is a great deal of mysterious phenomenon in South China,such as Wen Mi(问米),Cha Jiazhai(查家宅)of Guangfu area;Fuxiangu(伏仙姑),and the god of food basket of Hakka area;and Chuan- ling(穿令),Bo Huotang(拨火塘),and divination,fortunetelling,Feng Shui practicing of Leizhou Peninsula, which can not be explained by natural scientific methods and which have been avoided or even thrown out by medias,and scolded as a superstition.Actually,when human can hardly control their own destinies,they always move heaven and earth to resist disasters.To ask for blessings and avoid unlucky matters is a common and popular mentality,and the relative ritual performed is a mind culture,an unconscious mind of popular ideology,and also the reason why these unusual matters can never prohibited.Therefore,we'd better respect the public opinion and let the believers be relived,which will be beneficial for constructing the harmonious society.
