A Review of China's Mainland's Recent 30 Year Researches on Ancient Chinese Aesthetics of Life

人生美学真正被学者们提出是在20世纪80年代中后期。到目前,中国古代人生美学的研究队伍不断壮大,文章、专著不断涌现,研究对象涉及从先秦到近代的个人、学派等。但中国古代人生美学基本理论的研究还比较薄弱,研究对象、研究方法、研究范围还没有得到明确阐释,研究对象集中在先秦时期儒道两家,其他诸家基本没有涉及。

Aesthetics of life was advanced as a field of study in the late 1980s.Since then the research team has been increasing,and articles and books have been published covering schools and figures from pre-Qin to modern times.However,studies in theory are few,and the object,methods,and scope of research were not clearly defined or expounded.Researches are mainly focused on Confucianism and Taoism,leaving other schools barely touched.
