Based on the experience of construction for practical teaching center for clinical skills in local comprehensive university,this paper discussed the importance of practical teaching center for clinical skills and described the ideas and the programs of construction for practical teaching center,which is aimed at exploring an effective way in cultivation of application-oriented medical talents in the western region of China.
