Comparative Study of Traditional Boat Construction Techniques in Korea and Japan

从古代开始,韩国和日本就受到中华文明的影响,成为中华文化圈里的一员,但在此后的历史发展过程中却各自形成了具有不同特色的文化。例如,由于所处地理环境、海洋环境及民族特性的不同,两国在建造传统船舶时所采用的造船工艺有着很大的差异。

From ancient times,Korea and Japan have been heavily affected by Chinese civilization and become members of the family of Chinese culture.But with the development of history,Korea and Japan have formed respectively cultures with their own characteristics. Due to differences in geography,marine environment and characteristics of people, the techniques used by Korea and Japan in constructing traditional boats are greatly different.
