构建社会主义和谐社会是社会主义建设和发展过程中新的奋斗目标,这一宏伟目标的实现,需要人们的观念更新和制度创新。针对改革开放以来在社会各个领域暴露出来的种种弊端和当前亟待解决的社会问题,本文认为,解决社会公平问题,是构建和谐社会的基石;建立健全社会安全体系,是和谐社会的心理保障;转变政府职能,完善监督体系,是构建和谐社会的根本条件。

Construction of socialist harmonious society is our new goal when we go on building and developing our socialist China.If we want to get the new goal,we must update our ideas and reform our systems.The paper presents that solution of equity problem is the foundation,a sound social security system is the safeguard and transformation of the government's functions and perfecting the supervision system are qualifications for harmonious society.
