重构大学英语教学模式,培养学生英语应用能力

On Rebuilding College English Teaching Model and Training Students' Comprehensive English Competence

针对当前的英语教学实际 ,首先要进行教学时间的再分配。其次 ,要在教学内容上做较大的调整。总的思路是 ,实行“活期”英语教学与“定期”英语教学相结合 ,现行教材与增补内容相结合 ,增补的内容兼顾社会与学生的需求。既让学生参加必要的英语统考 ,又按社会的需求开设用英语讲授的专业方向课程 ,同时兼顾学生的兴趣 ,如可以开设训练各个专项技能的英语听力课 ,口语课 ,口译课 ,笔译课 ,商务谈判模拟课等等。

Based on the current English teaching situation, in order to train students' comprehensive English Competence, we put forward the idea of rearranging teaching time and readjusting teaching content. The general idea includes the following aspects: 1. To combine “regular teaching” with “flexible teaching”. 2. To combine textbook content with that of the supplement. 3. To improve students' interests, we should not only help them pass the necessary unified English exams but also offer some courses based on social requirement such as listening, speaking, oral interpretation, written translation and imitated business negotiation.
