Lamaism has extensive mass foundation in Inner Mongolia. It influences every aspect of people's life including politics, economy and culture etc. By carefully analyzing the characteristics of it, comrade Wu Lanwu formulated and implemented effective policies and measures to handle the ethnic problems successfully. One of the important policies he carried out is to carry out the spirit of unity front and cooperate with religious personages to educate lamas to be working people living by their own labor.
