布朗和列文森的面子观念为提高大学生的英语口语交际能力和语用能力问题提供了新的思路和方法。面子观念对大学生的英语口语交际能力和语用能力既有积极影响,也有消极影响。在大学英语教学实践中,教师可以运用赞扬策略、合作策略和创新策略来减轻或消除其消极影响。
The concept of face raised by Brown and Levinson provides new thinking approaches and methods to improve college students' oral communicative and pragmatic competences. It has both positive and negative effects on college students' oral communicative and pragmatic competences. In practice, college English teachers can apply strategies of praise, cooperation and innovation to reduce or get rid of the negative effects.
