进入新世纪以来,成人教育的重要性不仅没有因为传统任务的变化而被社会遗弃,反而因为更多新工作、新职责的出现而使其更加重要,其不可替代的作用更加突出。面对时代和社会的进步与发展,成人教育在终身教育体系中有着不可替代的作用,它对创建学习型社会承担着更为艰巨的任务,可以说,没有成人教育的广泛开展,全民学习、终身学习的学习型社会的建立就难以完成。因此,正确认识对传统的继承,努力创新是成人教育今后顺利发展的必然。

Since new century,the importance of adult education is not abandoned because of the change of traditional task. On the contrary,it becomes more important because of the appearance of more new jobs and new responsibilities and its irreplaceable role becomes more obvious. Facing the progress and development of times and society,adult education has played an irreplaceable role in lifelong education system. It carries more arduous task of constructing learning society. That is to say,without widespreading adult education,setting up the learning society of learning-for-all and lifelong learning cannot be accomplished. Therefore,understanding traditional inheriting properly and innovating with effort is a necessity for the future development of adult education.
