摘要
外语教学是一项复杂的系统工程。互联网介入大学英语教学,正在引起这个教学领域在理念、结构等诸多方面的深刻变革。本文论述了在网络技术辅助大学英语教学条件下课堂管理和教学结构的要求,分析了该模式的网络辅助学习过程和教师应起的作用。教师不是点击鼠标的“播音员”,不是简单的指示灌输者,而应该是管理者、组织者、激励者、助动者、征询者、指导者,学习的典范。
The learning and teaching of English as a foreign language at college in China is a complex and systemic project. The web-aided English learning program is energizing profound changes of concept and organization in this domain. This paper aims at expounding that fundamental classroom management and structuring principles. It presents the role of teacher as an administrator, organizer, catalyst, facilitator, consultant, guide and model of learning, not as an implanter of knowledge, much less a “mouse operator' in the web-aided teaching and learning process.
