It is necessary to use socialism core value system to guide College ideological and political education,consolidate socialist ideology' leading position in colleges and universities as well as realize the cultivation objectives.That is to regard Marxism guiding thoughts as the soul of ideological and political education,regard the common ideal for socialism with Chinese characteristics as the main theme of ideological and political education,regard national spirit and time spirit as the essence of ideological and political education,regard the socialism outlook for honor and dishonor as an important basis of ideological and political education.Therefore,the teaching style and method of this course must be innovated.
