Lexical chunk is the combination of grammar,semantic,pragmatic and context.Chunk-based teaching method is developed from conventional teaching method.It emphasizes the important roles of the vocabulary and grammar in language acquisition.It is more committed to the rules of language acquisition and therefore considered to be more scientific.This paper discusses how to effectively prepare the students for the web-based English Test for college(level B) by using chunk-based teaching method.
