摘要 Gadolinium p toluenesulfonate highly soluble in organic solvent was prepared and was used as the electrolyte in DMF for the first time. The electrode process of the reduction of Gd(Ⅲ) to the Gd is irreversible studied by cyclic voltammetry, chronopotentiometry. A dense film of gadolinium with metallic luster was obtained by potentiostatic electrolysis. The transfer coefficient of electrode reaction Gd(Ⅲ)+3e=Gd and the diffusion coefficient of Gd(Ⅲ) were determined as 0.35 and 2.0×10 -7 cm 2s -1 at 25℃ respectively.
