The Significance of the "three-step" Strategy in China's Modernization Road

随着改革开放政策的确立,以邓小平为核心的第二代领导人适时提出"三步走"发展战略,将新时期中国现代化建设由过去以工业化建设为重心转向全面建设包括工业、农业、国防和科学技术的四个现代化,力争在不断提高人民生活水平和精神文明的基础上,把我国建设成为高度文明、高度民主的社会主义国家,最终达到全民共同富裕的目标。"三步走"战略丰富和发展了中国共产党的现代化建设思想,提升了新时期中国现代化建设的深度和广度,中国经济从此进入长期高速增长。

With the establishment of the policy of reform and opening up,Deng Xiaoping as the core second-generation leaders made a timely manner to the 'three-step' development strategy.The strategy was turned to focuse on the Four Modernizations including industry,agriculture,national defense,science and technology,and strived to constantly improve the people's living standards and spiritual civilization,to build China into a highly civilized,highly democratic socialist country and ultimately achieve the goal of national common prosperity.The 'three-step' strategy enriched and developed the CPC's ideology of modernization construction,enhanced the depth and breadth of China's modernization construction,which boost long-term rapid growth of Chinese economy.
