This article introduces the actual situation of the ideological and political education in universities and colleges,sets forth the realistic significance and the theoretic foundation of constructing the mechanism of student Party member who is in charge of the class,which is propitious to fully bring broad student Party members' activeness and initiative into play,farthest tap and exert the students'potentialities,practically bring the student Party members'role into play,it also is propitious to successfully carry out the work of ideological and political education in universities and colleges.
