近代译书及清末西学输入对中国图书事业的影响

The Influence of Modern Version and the Western Theory Introduction in Qing Dynasty on China's Books Undertaking

中国历史中翻译书并不是近代才有的事物,古代魏晋至隋唐之间就有佛经翻译和一般的西方著作翻译成中文,在明清之际西方传教士和中国学者也曾翻译过一批很有学术价值的科学著作,只是当时传入中国的西方文化远远没有达到动摇中国图书中正经、正史的统治地位。但是近代译书的大量涌现和西学的输入却动摇了以传统的儒家思想为代表的封建文化的根基,为五四运动高举反帝、反封建的大旗奠定了坚实的基础。

In China's history, version was not the new thing in modern China, earlier between ancient WeiJin Dynasty and SuiTang Dynasty there was version of Buddhism and ordinary western books, also in Ming and Qing Dynasty the western missionary and Chinese scholars translated a batch of scientific works with great academic value, but all these introduced western culture had a long way to go for influencing the traditional position of China's books. Therefore, when a great deal of modern version emerged in China, it shook the foundation of Feudal culture represented by Confucian idea, and lay a strong foundation for the May 4th Movement to hold high the flag of fighting against imperialism and feudalism.
