影响私家藏书活动的社会环境因素很多,概括起来有物质和意识两大因素。其中生产技术和经济发展属于物质因素,政治环境和文化风气属于意识因素。物质因素是影响私家藏书文化的决定因素,意识因素对藏书文化的发展也有着不可忽视的能动作用。

There are many social factors influencing private book collection activity.To sum up,there are two main factors: material and consciousness.The production technology and the economic development belong to the material factor;the political context and the cultural atmosphere belong to consciousness factor.And material factor is the determining factor affecting the private book collection culture,and consciousness factor plays an active role in book collection culture's development.
