分形学的主要研究对象就是看似不规则的图形,区域和城市规划的研究客体则是以人类进行社会活动的空间构成和综合发展,传统的量化工具处理这些纷繁复杂的现象与图形较为困难。而分形学恰好能够很容易的解决此类问题,因此,近些年,分析学在城市规划设计方面得到了广泛应用。

The main research object of fractal theory is a seemingly irregular graphics,the research object of region and city planning is the space constitute and integrated development of human to conduct social activities,the traditional quantitative tools are more difficult to deal with these complex phenomena and graphics.While the fractal theory just can easily solve this kind of problem,therefore,in recent years,analysis has been widely applied in city planning and design.
