《双城记》是英国小说家狄更斯的一部力作,秉承了作者二元对立的人物塑造风格。从对宽容、仁爱的赞赏和对复仇者泯灭人性的否定,可以看出作者主张用宽容和爱化解仇恨,反对以暴制暴,从而折射出作者本人的人道主义精神。
A Tale of Two Cities is a novel by Charles Dickens,a famous English novelist.Dickens built characters of the novel in a binary opposition method as he used to be.The author praised the characteristic of benevolence and opposed revenge by violence.We can see humanitarian spirit in this novel.
