In his Italian novel A Room with a View,Foster depicted differences between cultures and conflicts between groups from both macro and micro perspectives,in search of the possibilities of eliminating prejudices.He used the motif of marriage to build the connection,with which he cried for salvation.He appealed for the combination of reason and passion,material and spirit and soul and body,so as to cure the 'undeveloped hearts'.
