随着经济全球化的不断推进和深化,英语作为一门国际性语言,其应用的范围愈加广泛,与此同时,社会对英语翻译人才的要求标准日益提高,高职学生要实现顺利就业,必须具备扎实的英语基础知识,拥有良好的听、说、读、写、译等能力,文章主要阐述了当前形势下,高职英语翻译课程存在的问题,并在此基础之上,对如何提高翻译课程教学的效果和质量给予了合理化建议,希望能对相关人士提供参考和帮助。

With the development and deepening of economic globalization,English as an international language,the scope of its application is becoming more and more widely,at the same time,requirements of society for English translation talents are increasing,higher vocational college students to obtain employment smoothly,must have solid basic knowledge of English,have good listening,speaking,reading,writing and translation capability,this paper mainly discusses existing problems in college English translation course under the current situation,and on this basis,to give reasonable suggestions on how to improve the translation curriculum teaching effect and quality,hoping to provide reference and help people.
