In the process of the transformation of Chinese traditional literary criticism to modern criticism,Mrs.Zhu Guang-qian makes pioneering contributions.His work On Poetics,is a great success because of its logical system,conscious theoretical thinking,borrowing and using of modern critical methods and some creative theories.It bridges Chinese and western poetics,and brings fresh elements to Chinese traditional literary criticism in a new cultural context,thus represents the achievements of Chinese modern literary criticism of that era.
