海南霸王岭发现库蠓属二新种(双翅目:蠓科)

Two New Species of Culicoides from Mt.Bawangling,Hainan,China (Diptera:Ceratopogonidae)

2009年在海南霸王岭(19.0°N,109.0°E)的昆虫调查采集中,采获许多蠓类,经分类研究,发现其中有二种库蠓新种,分别命名为霸王岭库蠓Culicoides bawanglingensis Yu,Wang and Chen,sp.nov.和曲囊库蠓Culicoides reduncutheca Yu,Wang and Tan,sp.nov.。这2种库蠓属新种的模式标本珍藏于医学昆虫标本馆(北京丰台东大街20号,100071)。

In 2009,two new species of Culicoides were found from Mt.Bawangling(19.0°N,109.0°E),Hainan.All types are deposited in the Medical Entomology Collection Gallery(20 Dongda Street,Fengtai,Beijing 100071,China).The descriptions are given in this paper.1.Culicoides bawanglingensis Yu,Wang and Chen,sp.nov.(Cover 2,fig.1) Although the new species is allied to Culicoides novaguineanus Tokunaga,1959 and Culicoides malayae Macfiie,1937,it has clear distinction in the following characteristics:the third palpal segment and spermathecae.The palppal 3 segment and pattern of wing some resembles C.boormani Giles and Wirth,1985,but differs from the radial cells.2.Culicoides reduncutheca Yu,Wang and Tan,sp.nov.(Cover 2,fig.2) The new species is related to Culicoides minipalpis Wirth and Hubert,1989,but differs from the spermathecae:it has two spermathecae.
