Ai Qing's Acceptance of Musset and Symbolistic Literature

勤工俭学运动中的苏俄影响和社会主义思潮、未来主义在美术上的启发、波兰留学女生的文学指引是艾青白话新诗创作的最初的外来推动力。留法时期,由于对法语不熟练的原因,艾青承认自己对法国文学阅读既不系统也不广泛,然而,还是明显看得出来他受了魏尔伦、波德莱尔、李金发等诗人的影响,缪塞和瓦雷里则影响了艾青的诗论。

Ai Qing participated in the Work-study Movement in France,where Futurist art,Literature guidance of female college student from Poland,Russian revolution,Soviet influence and socialist thought were Ai Qing's driving force of his vernacular poetry writing.During that period,due to his unskilled French,Ai Qing admitted that he didn't read French literature systematically or extensively.However,it is clear that he was influenced by the poets like Verhaeren,Baudelaire and Li Jinfa and his poetry theory was also influenced by Musset and Valéry.
