摘要
科技英语被动句具有将重要信息放在句首加以强调所叙述客体的特征。文章阐明了被动语态的定义,对英汉科技作品中被动语态的使用进行了比较,讨论了被动语态的语义特征和句法结构,并从语境视角提出了处理科技语篇中不同被动句翻译的具体方法。
The use of passive voice in EST is featured by the placement of important information at the beginning of the sentence.After giving the definition of passive voice,this paper compares the use of passive voice in EST between Chinese and English,and discusses the semantic features and sentence structures of the passive voice as well as the techniques in translating sentence of passive voice in different EST.
