孔子和陶行知是中国教育史上有着世界知名度的伟大教育家。孔子和陶行知的思想既有一脉相通之处 ,又打上了各自的时代烙印。从孔子到陶行知到新课程 ,其教育理念之所以有诸多相通之处 ,是因为他们教育理念的终极追求都是以实现人的发展与完善为鹄的 ,我们可以具体地解读为教育对象的全体性。

Confucius and Tao Xing-zhi are worldly well-known Chinese educators. Their educational ideas have something similar, nevertheless they have the brand of their own ages. The similarity of ideas of Confucius, Tao Xing-zhi and new curriculum are in that the ultimate goal of education is to realize the development of human beings. The paper interprets the similarity from three aspects, i.e. education objects, goal of education and the content of education. So, we can not only appreciate the timeless charm of great thoughts, but also obtain the historical evidence and reference to put the new curriculum to practice.
