Taking the 'Tens of Thousands of Hectares of Fertile Farmland Construction Project' in the newly developed area of Zhenjiang as a case study,this paper introduces the spatial database of the above project and the application thereof,which provide the fundamental data for related assessment after completing the project.The database provides scientific basis for later related decision making through the utilization of such data as soil environment quality and the changes in land exploitation.
