摘要
为了保持生命力,CORBA技术必须不断向前发展,而其性能在CORBA设计及应用中起着关键的作用。文中指出了现存CORBA在性能敏感型应用中的缺陷和造成CORBA性能低下的原因。从CORBA产品和CORBA应用开发者的角度出发,指出了一些提高CORBA性能的方法。首先对CORBA技术进行简单介绍,接着讨论CORBA的性能要求。最后,详细介绍影响CORBA性能的几个重要因素。所提出的性能优化方法对实际系统的开发具有一定的指导意义。
The technology of CORBA is being developed continually in order to maintain its vitality. And its performance plays a key role in the designing and application of CORBA.In this paper,the limitations with existing ORB's for performance-sensitive applications and the causes of performance overhead in ORB endsystems are discussed .Several optimizing methods are proposed for improving the performance of ORB products and CORBA applications.In this paper, the technology of CORBA is introduced firstly. The requests of performance for CORBA are discussed as follows. Finally, the important factors to influence CORBA's performance are introduced in detail.The optimizing performance methods discussed in this paper are helpful for the development of a operational system.
