英汉互译中的跨文化交际意识

Intercultural Communication Awareness in English-Chinese Translation

语言是文化的载体,必须要依附于某种特定的文化而存在;翻译是一种语言交流活动,在将一种语言转换为另一种语言的同时,更是在传递承载这种语言的文化。在英汉互译的过程中,译者对于文化的理解会直接影响最终的翻译效果,也会影响到读者是否能构建客观的、正确的对原作的认知结构,所以在翻译实践过程中,跨文化交际意识就起着越来越重要的作用。

Language is the carrier of culture,so it exists by attaching to a particular culture.Translation is a language exchange activity,transmitting culture while one kind of language is translated into another.During English-Chinese translating process,the cultural understanding of translator will directly affect the final translation effect,and the reader' s establishment of an objective and a right cognitive structure of the original version as well.So the intercultural communication plays an important role in the process of translation practice increasingly.
