摘要
文章针对第三代新儒家从儒学角度反思"五四"和"启蒙"的某些观点,通过梳理明中叶以来的一条具有启蒙意义的思想线索,可以发现启蒙思想并不只是西方国家的"地方经验"。"五四"新文化运动同这条思想线索有着内在联系,倡导启蒙、科学、民主的"五四"新文化运动并不是西方"文化殖民的产物"。当今弘扬国学或本土文化应该着眼于中国传统文化的全局与整体,不应局限于正统儒学,更不应排斥"异端",因为启蒙思想往往存在于"异端"之中。
Some Confucians of the third generation are reflecting on the enlightenment and the May Forth Movement from the perspective of Neo-Confucianism in recent years,and they believe that the Enlightenment or the May Forth Movement comes from the colonizing of western culture.However,when we review the Chinese traditional thoughts of getting rid of superstition and respecting reason from Ming dynasty,we can see that this viewpoint is not correct.The May Forth New Culture Movement is connected closely with those traditional thoughts.This movement has no purpose of denying Confucius entirely.Actually,there are unorthodox parts in Chinese local culture,so the revival of Chinese traditional learning is not just the revival of Confucianism.Much more attention should be paid to those unorthodox thoughts.
