摘要
回归尼采式生命意志构成《瀑布》的中心题旨,也是玛格丽特.德拉布尔为挣扎在工具理性与伦理教化浸淫与滥觞中不断丧失性灵和情感的人们开出的一剂解毒药方。本文借助尼采悲剧理论阐释作品中日神精神、酒神精神以及二者结合的美学意蕴对女性既定命运的僭越功能,从原型批评的角度解读《瀑布》中的悲剧救赎路径,展示女主人公藉由强力意志实现自我提升的心路历程。
Returning to Nietzsche's 'will to life' form a central motif in The Waterfall,which is also Margaret Drabble's antidote to the deprivation of sensation and spirits caused by the illusions of civilization,rationalism and ethics.In this novel,the transgressive nature of Nietzsche's aesthetic usage of Apollo and Dionysus is discernible.The present paper intends to develop an archetypal reading of the tragic salvation in the novel,demonstrating the heroine's journey of self-improvement.
