Influence of Population Factor on Hong Kong's Economic Growth and Related Policy Recommendations——Positive Analysis based on Cobb-Douglas Production Function

借助经典经济增长模型C-D生产函数,考察人口因素(1982-2011年)相较于资本因素和技术因素在经济增长中所起的作用,并将人口因素按照年龄结构、性别结构和组成部分三个途径进行分解,力图揭示香港经济发展过程中人口数量变化、性别结构、年龄结构以及净迁移人口等多方面情况对其经济增长的影响。

Based on the classical economic growth model 'Cobb-Douglas production function',this paper tries to reveal the influence of population factor on Hong Kongs economic growth,by comparing it with that of capital and technology factor.Taking the amount change of population,sex structure,age structure,as well as the net migration population into account,this paper uses the data from 1982 to 2011 for regression and separates the influence of sex structure,age structure and the population composition.Some policy recommendations are provided at the end.
