After a comprehensive analysis of the development of the foreign trade in Yuxi,the paper puts forward that Yuxi should establish its leading and characteristic industry on the basis of its existing industry system to enhance the competitiveness of its exports by improving the development environment and conditions of foreign trade indstry.
