大西村是玉溪地区最边远、最穷的少数民族山寨之一.10年来,国家各项政策包括新农村建设政策也深入到了大西村.在实施国家各项利农政策的情况下,大西各自然村的周围环境和外观发生了明显变化,其住房内部结构和功能更加合理,交通和卫生状况也得到了很大的改善.

Daxi is one of poorest and remotest mountain village in Yuxi area.During the recent ten years,government policies including the policy for development of rural villages have been implemented in the village.Daxi has been changing in appearance and surroundings.Its buildings have become more reasonable in interior structure and function and its transportation and sanitary conditions have been greatly improved.
