陆机生平考辨二则

Two Textual Researches on Lu Ji's Life

陆机在其父丧后,与众兄弟分领父兵。从治所乐乡接受使命出发,向西到信陵担任品级较低的牙门将一职。陆机之所以能够"播名上京",完全是因为他勤学十年积累的才学和表现出来的文学天赋。当时的朝廷重臣张华虽然与陆机并未蒙面,但已经为其文才折服而为之延誉。陆机于太熙末年接受杨骏征召担任太府祭酒一职而入洛,此时始访张华。

Lu Ji,after his father's death,led his father's soldiers with his brothers separately.Having accepted the task in Le Town,he went westward to Xinlin and served as Yamenjiang.That Lu Ji could get such a high fame in the capital was entirely because of his accumulated knowledge during ten years of hard work and the literary talent he had shown.Although Zhang Hua,an important government official at that time,did not meet Lu Ji himself,he was convinced by Lu's literary talent and spoke highly of him.Lu Ji was recruited by Yang Jun at the end of Taixi 1ast year and took the post of Jijiu in the mansion of Taifu in Luoyang,and since then he made acquaintance with and visited Zhang Hua.
