摘要
本文从英语习语中比喻修辞运用的构成特点、语义特点及民族特色等方面对英语习语中的明喻、隐喻进行讨论,并对英语习语与汉语成语的比喻加以比较,以期阐明英语习语中比喻修辞的结构、语义及组成特点等方面的技巧。
The essay analyzes analogy in English idioms from features,semantics and nationality characteristics,and it compares the analogy skills between English idioms and Chinese ones in order to illustrate the structural skills and semantic features of analogy used in English idioms.
