《综合英语》作为英语专业基础阶段的一门主干课程,其目的和任务是通过对学生进行听、说、读、写、译等方面技能的训练和语言学习的过程提高学生的综合语言素养,培养学生的思维能力和用语言表达思想的能力。要全面有效地推进《综合英语》精品课程建设,必须以加强师资队伍建设为关键,以课程内容建设为核心,以革新教学方法和手段为切入点,以建设动态教学评估体系为导向,以推动第二课堂建设为突破口。

"Comprehensive English" as a course at the fundamental stage for English Majors, its purpose and mission is through the students listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation and other aspects of skills training and language learning process to improve the students' comprehensive language development, to cultivate students' thinking ability and the ability to use language to express ideas. To effectively promote the construction of "comprehensive English " course, must strengthen teaching staff construction, with curriculum construction as the core, reform the teaching methods and means as the breakthrough point, taking the construction of dynamic teaching evaluation system as a guidance, to promote the second classroom building for breach.
