This article analyses the foreign language education policy,the foreign language education idea and foreign language teaching mode of China based on the inspiration drawn form the foreign language education of America.Among them,the author put the focus of analysis on the essential elements and characteristics prerequisite for an advanced,scientific and comprehensive foreign language teaching mode.
