Conflict and Balance: The Differentiation and Reorganization of the Overseas Chinese Society in Prato, Italy after the European Debt Crisis

普拉托(Prato)位于意大利中部,是温州籍华人华侨在欧洲的聚集地之一。欧债危机爆发后,普拉托当地社会与华人华侨冲突不断,华人华侨社会出现分化与重组。本文通过对欧债危机后意大利普拉托华人华侨社会的跟踪调查,分析普拉托的华人华侨社会与意大利当地社会在冲突与均衡的博弈中分化与重组的轨迹,并对普拉托华人华侨如何真正融入当地社会提出相关建议。

Prato, locates in the middle of Italy, is one rendezvous for the overseas Chinese from Wenzhou in Europe. After the eruption of the European debt crisis, Prato local society and overseas Chinese society were in conflict. The overseas Chinese society appeared differentiation and reorganization. This article investigated the overseas Chinese society in Prato after the European debt crisis, analyzed the track of the differentiation and reorganization of the overseas Chinese society and Italian local society in the conflict and balance between them, and proposed some suggestions for the overseas Chinese in Prato about how to integrate into local society.
