A New Textual Research on Lyu Ji' Life

吕纪是明代弘治时期著名的宫廷画家,以花鸟画闻名于世,是明代院体花鸟画的代表人物。由于史料的缺乏,关于其生平情况历来所知甚少。对相关史料以及其部分存世作品的梳理,可对其生卒年、官职、入宫时间、子嗣及传人等生平情况得出新的结论,丰富我们对这位明代著名画家的认识。

Lyu Ji was a famous court painter during the Hongzhi period of Ming Dynasty, who was famous for bird-and-flower painting, and was one of the representative figures of the Ming Dynasty Court bird-and-flower painting. Due to the lack of historical materials, little is known about Lyu Ji's life. Sorting out the relevant historical materials and some of his existing works, it can obtain new conclusions about his life, as his years of birth and death, his official position, the time of his court service, his heirs and descendants, etc., which can enrich the knowledge about this famous painter in the Ming Dynasty,
