To reinforce socialist core value system,it is important to work out new ways of political and ideological education for university students under the current situation.Micro-blogging offers us a new medium of ideological education,but it also has its negative side.This article analyzes both the positive and negative sides of micro-blogging as a means of ideological education suited for university students and proposes ways of taking full advantage of micro-blogging to better the effect of ideological education.
